Regular Drop-In Sessions

At the Centre for Mindfulness and Wellbeing, we understand the need for access to regular mindfulness meditation sessions, and recognise the importance of providing opportunities for group practice that are face to face.

 

Our regular sessions are designed for beginners and experienced alike and will involve two meditation practices and time for discussion and questions. See details below for more information.

Face-to-Face Drop-In Sessions
at Old Low Light Heritage Centre

 

Our regular classes are designed for beginners and experienced alike. The sessions will involve opportunity for mindfulness meditation practice as well as for questions, discussion and reflection.

 

Facilitator: Michael Atkinson

These sessions are held on the top floor of the Old Low Light Heritage Centre in North Shields on the first Saturday of every month, 10.00 - 11.00am. This is a fantastic venue with great views across the river.

at Jesmond Library (Due to restart Autumn 2024)

 

An opporutinity to pause in the middle of a busy day. To help improve wellbeing and focus. Practicing within a friendly group can help you to keep encouraged and motivated. These guided sessions are suitable for those with any level of experience. This session will be held in one of the upstairs rooms.

These sessions are held every Thursday afternoon 1-2pm

Online Drop-in Mindfulness Sessions (Due to restart Autumn 2024)

 

The sessions offer an opportunity to refresh and support your practice. Practicing within a friendly group can help you to keep encouraged and motivated. They are stand alone sessions, rather than a course format. They provide an opportunity to help unwind in the evening. These guided sessions are suitable for those with any level of experience.

These sessions are held online, every 1st Wednesday evening of each month, 7.30-8.15 pm

​
